Evening Walk – Devil’s Dyke

Join us for an evening walk to take advantage of the longest day, and kick back at the end of the walk and watch the sunset with a sundowner.

Meeting at 5.30 for a 5.45 start at the Devil’s Dyke car park (National Trust, so do car share and use your membership to pay for parking). We will wend our way down the escarpment, through Saddlescombe, Newtimber and Wolstonbury Hill, before circling back to Devil’s Dyke. The pub is open until 10.00 pm, so just time for refreshments.

The route is 12.4 km (taking approx. 3hrs 20min) and there is 564 metres of ascent with some steep sections.
