Day Walk – Whiteways Lodge
Sunday 7th June

The walk will be starting at Whiteways Lodge car park at 10.00 am. The car park is on the large roundabout to the north of Arundel. Public transport is not great but it's only a 20 minute drive from Worthing and happy to ensure car shares.

The walk is just about 9.5 miles and will involve some uphill sections climbing 945 ft. It is described as 'difficult' but should not be too taxing depending on weather conditions!

The walk will follow the Monarch's Way to Houghton and then follow the river to Bury before heading to Bignor and then returning to Whiteways car park. There is a cafe at the start and pubs on the way for refreshment stops!

The walk should take about 5 hours 30 mins with a lunch stop half way round. Please bring a packed lunch and drinks.
