Day Walk – Washington
Saturday 24th January 2026

Apologies for late notice about next Saturdays walk (I have just arrived back from a trip to Australia!).

The walk starts and finishes at the Frankland Arms P.H. in Washington. Please meet at 10:00am outside the pub. Parking is available along the road. There is also public transport available - the No 23 runs up the A24 in Worthing and takes about 22 mins.

The walk will go through Washington and the village Church before going round Windlesham School and along the South Downs Way. The walk then goes down to Sullington Church and then returning to the Pub.

The walk has an elevation of only 54 metres and is approximately 10 km. There will be boggy sections given all the rain we have had and can be adjusted if the weather is against us.
